About Us

Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board (LBTB) was established in April 2004 to support tourism businesses in the Lancashire and Blackpool sub-region by representing their interests regionally and nationally.

LBTB activities are now focused on marketing and PR, commercial membership, developing industry partnerships and 'Welcome to Excellence' training,  all of which are designed to help develop Lancashire as a premier destination, to enhance the visitor experience and help sustain a thriving  visitor economy. LBTB is led by a Managing Director  supported by a team of dedicated staff whose work is overseen by a Board of Directors.
