WHAT: The Blackpool Tower Dungeon open casting call for scare actors
WHERE: Blackpool Tower, The Promenade, Blackpool, FY1 4BJ
WHEN: From 9.30am Tuesday 5 July
Photo/Filming Opportunities:
- Unique visual job interview process to discover raw acting talent
- X Factor style queue of (50) scary auditonees, lined up outside Blackpool Tower
- Interviews with our scare panel/judges
- Interviews with auditionees
- Interviews with Blackpool Tower Dungeon spokespeople
Key Timings:
- 9.15am – audtionees arrive and queue up outside the Tower
- 9.30am – opportunity to do pictures on the pier
- 9.45am – auditionees move inside the Blackpool Tower Dungeon
- 10.00am – auditions commence
The Blackpool Tower Dungeon opens to the public on 1 September and is having a witch-hunt to find the talent to play the scary selection of characters that will lurk deep in the attraction. The leading attraction will have an open casting call, dubbed The (HE)X Factor on 5 July to unearth the actors to play roles including Vikings, smugglers and witches!
Wannabe actors will have the chance to perform in front of the Dungeons team and those who both scare and make the experts laugh the most will be invited to come to the auditions where they will be selecting 20 actors to play the collection of roles. Quality is key as lucky auditionees will be bringing some of history’s most horrible bits back to life!
