Investment Grants for Accommodation Providers

LBTB is committed to supporting quality initiatives and is working in partnership with Blackpool Borough Council to offer Blackpool based accommodation providers access to a grant scheme known as Invest In The Best Lancashire.

This grant scheme offers support from £800 to £25,000 at a 30% intervention rate of the overall project costs for capital investment work that directly leads to gaining or improving a national accreditation, through Visit Britain or the AA. Capital work could involve reconfiguring of guest space or environmental improvements, but exclude cosmetic work, fixtures and fittings, aswell as statutory requirements.

Those businesses wishing to make capital adjustments to improve accessability, but not improve overall acreditation, can apply for funds which results in a Visit Britain Accessability award.
