England's Golf Coast embraces a spectacular stretch of Northwest England from Cumbria and the Lake District in the North to Wirral and Cheshire in the South.
It includes three of the top-20 and seven of the top-36 courses in the UK and Ireland. Three of England's Golf Coast venues are among the world's top-75.These are some of the UK's most challenging and daunting golf courses located on some of the most naturally beautiful coastline in Britain.
England's Golf Coast is home to no fewer than three famous Royal links courses - Birkdale, Liverpool and Lytham & St Annes. Together these world-renowned venues have hosted the Open Championship no fewer than 29 times since 1897.
