Get to grips with tourism online

Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board's Destination Management System (DMS) has been designed to suit the requirements of the tourism industry and contains updated information for the visitor which is distributed through a variety of media.

Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board, your local authority, the network of Tourist Information Centres and VisitBritain all use this information to support marketing activities, to promote your business effectively and to respond to enquiries from the public and the press.

The DMS also assists in the process of online accommodation booking, special offers, and other e-services.

VisitBritain, its regional, local and commercial partners are working together to give tourism businesses the opportunity to reach customers online and complement their existing marketing activities.

EnglandNet is a non-profit making initiative, run by VisitBritain and deployed in partnership with regional development agencies, regional and local tourism partners. It makes more of England’s tourism products available to consumers through VisitBritain's websites and also provides live availability and pricing through these channels.
