This leaflet is being updated for 2009 and once again rural visitor attractions have the opportunity to participate.

The current format will be retained with all entries being of a standard size and format, including an image and key information about the attraction.

Lancashire's Countryside Collection, now in its fourth year, aims to promote Lancashire's rural visitor attractions and is distributed through the following channels;

  • North West Tourist Information Centres
  • 20,000+ copies to rural tourism businesses in Lancashire
  • 20,000 copies distributed to Northwest service stations, attractions and airports.
  • Brochure requests made via visitlancashire.com, Enjoy England marketing campaigns and any other advertising carried out by the Tourist Board during 2009
  • 2000 copies at The Ordnance Survey Outdoor Show (NEC) in March 09
  • At various North West and national shows/exhibitions throughout 2009
  • Via download from visitlancashire.com

60,000 copies in total are to be produced for the 2009 season together with 250 wall chart versions of the guide which are given to tourism businesses and Tourist Information Centres in Lancashire.

The cost of an entry into the 2009 guide is £220 +VAT (LBTB members also receive a 20% discount)
