Lancashire Young Chef of the Year

(Under 25 years of age on 31st October 2008)

Chefs nominated for this award need to show dedication to providing customers with an outstanding dining experience and show they have achieved relevant qualifications, are committed to extending their skills base and are good team players with excellent man-management skills.

Overall they must be talented, enthusiastic and imaginative chefs or cooks working within a Lancashire restaurant, hotel or visitor attraction.

To nominate for this award not only do we ask for completion of the nomination form but also a three course menu, in writing, designed and costed, using local Lancashire produce for 2 people at a total cost of £25.

A shortlist of chefs will be asked to attend a ‘cook off’ at Lancaster and Morecambe College week commencing 3rd November 2008.
