Strategy
Our vision for the Lancashire and Blackpool Visitor Economy is:
To revitalise and reposition the visitor economy in Lancashire and Blackpool so that it is more productive and sustainable, by working in partnership.
Our key strategies focus on the development and management of the visitor economy to achieve this vision. They uphold, reinforce and add value to the Regional Economic Strategy (RES), the Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) and the Regional Tourism Strategy (RTS) for the Northwest.
Our key strategies, which are available to download, are the Visitor Economy Strategy (VES) 2006 - 2016 and the Destination Management Plan (DMP) 2007 - 2008 which is reviewed annually.
