Accommodation Complaints

If you would like to make a formal complaint about accommodation that you would like to be investigated, first you must establish if the property has a star rating (meaning that it participates in a National Quality Assessment Scheme).  Details of properties that are graded are listed on www.visitbritain.com or www.enjoyengland.com

If it is graded you must submit your complaint in writing to the relevant assessment organisation:

Visit Britain

AA

If it does not participate in these schemes you will need to contact the local Trading Standards office in the nearest town to that accommodation. Your local Citizens Advice Bureau may also be able to assist you.
